What is A Center of Excellence?
Centers of Excellence is an initiative that infuses child-care centers with comprehensive services to increase quality of care.  Children ages birth to 5 years old, their families and the child care and early education professionals who serve them greatly benefit from the Centers of Excellence Initiative.

For children and families:
  • Scholarships for eligible children
  • Nurturing care and research-based instruction
  • Health screening and support  for children
  • Child assessment to guide learning experiences
